Op 3 oktober aanstaande zal Kim Wilde een optreden verzorgen in de Amsterdamse popzaal Paradiso. Wilde doet dit in het kader van haar ‘Snapshots & Greatest Hits Tour’.
De Engelse zangeres Kim Wilde was in het begin van de jaren tachtig The Princess of Pop met puntige newwavehits als ‘Kids In America’, ‘Cambodia’, ‘Chequered Love’, ‘Love 
Blonde’ en ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’ . De jaren negentig bracht ze voornamelijk tuinierend door, maar in 2003 maakte ze samen met de Duitse Nena een comeback met ‘Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime’. Het vele touren daarna met haar ‘Greatest Hits’ leidde zelfs tot inspiratie voor haar laatste albums ‘Come Out And Play’ (2010) en ‘Snapshots’ (2011).
Naast de vele hits die de zangeres zal brengen op 3 oktober zal de diva uit West-Londen dan ook haar meest recente album, Snapshots, presenteren. Dit laatste album bevat veertien covers die Kim Wilde zelf heeft geselecteerd.
